Morning Green Smoothie Recipe
A green smoothie is a great way to get some fruits and vegetables and other healthy supplements into your body.
There are many great combinations of green smoothies, incorporating different vegetables, fruits, and other supplements like a protein powder or superfoods, but this is my go-to simple combination.
1 cup frozen fruit—50/50 bananas and berries
1/2 cup fresh or frozen kale or spinach
1/2 cup frozen riced cauliflower (a great way to get your cruciferous veggies)
Almond milk or water—approximately ½ - 1 cup
Flax seeds
Optional: Plant-based protein powder
Blend until smooth and enjoy!
